Is it obligatory for someone who prayed the Isha prayer by combining it with and shortening it after the Maghrib prayer to repeat it if they then canceled their journey and returned to their country before the time for Isha?

If a traveler begins a journey that permits combining prayers (jama‘), and he combines them availing himself of the concession, then later decides to abandon the journey, he does not need to repeat the prayers he combined, because they were performed correctly. This is mentioned by the various schools of Islamic jurisprudence, just as there is no need to repeat the prayer for someone who shortened it (qasr) and then his excuse was removed. However, repeating the prayer as a precaution and to avoid disagreement is better.
