What is the ruling on a mother continuing to leave the home to buy and sell modest women's clothing in the West Bank, knowing that all of her dealings are with non-mahram men?

The fundamental principle regarding a woman's work is for it to be in her home, raising her children, as Allah Almighty says: "And stay in your houses." If the mother goes out for buying and selling to meet needs that her son cannot fulfill, or to promote Islamic attire by selling modest clothing for veiled women, then there is no objection, provided she adheres to the Sharia (definition) guidelines. The son is advised to treat his mother with gentleness, kindness, and wisdom, and to call her to cease leaving the home, especially since the son is meeting her basic needs.
