What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the actions of a mother who passed away without settling a debt owed to her son, and is seeing blood coming out of her nose in a dream after giving her a push considered a warning to pay off this debt on her behalf?
The debt of a deceased wealthy mother must be settled from her wealth before the distribution of the inheritance, because the soul of a believer is tied to their debt until it is paid off. However, if she was poor and left no wealth, her heirs are not obligated to pay off her debt, but it is commendable to do so out of filial piety.
The mother may take from her son's wealth according to her need if he does not provide her with the obligatory maintenance, because her children and their wealth are hers when needed, and she has the same ruling as the father in this regard, as long as it does not harm the son or his wealth. As for dream interpretation, it is not within our purview.
