Does the ruling regarding the companionship of beardless youths differ if they are obedient, regular in prayer, and of good character?

The fact that the beardless youths (mardan) are righteous does not change the prohibition of associating with them, because the underlying reason lies with the questioner, not with them. The questioner must abandon their company, strive against himself, and supplicate to God with hope, for Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves," and His saying: "As for those who strive in Our cause, We will surely guide them to Our paths. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."
