What is the ruling regarding a wife kissing her husband's feet as a means of drawing closer to Allah, while the husband prevents her, claiming that this act is not from the Sunnah nor is it transmitted, and that it contains a form of self-praise?

If a wife kissing her husband's feet is motivated by religion, righteousness, or respect, then there is no harm in it. However, if it is for worldly gain, it is not appropriate, and some scholars have deemed it disliked or forbidden. If the husband prevents her from doing so, she must obey him.
