What is the ruling on water poured out from a vessel licked by a dog, and is it obligatory to wash clothes or the body with earth if they are touched by this poured-out water or by the water used to wash the vessel?

Scholars differ concerning water in which a dog has licked: The Malikis: They hold that the dog's leftover water (su'r) is pure, and it is not necessary to wash any garment or body part it touches. The Shafi'is and Hanbalis: They hold that it is impure, and it is obligatory to pour out the water and wash the vessel seven times, one of them with earth.

As for what touches a garment or body from the water of the seven washes of the vessel: Non-Hanbalis: Washing is not necessary. The Hanbalis: They hold that washing it is obligatory, and they have two views: 1. It must be washed seven times, one of them with earth, even if the vessel has already been washed with earth. 2. If the contamination is from the first wash, the affected area is washed six times; if from the second, five times; and so on.
