The ruling on waking a sleeping person for prayer has been clarified in No. 104776. The mother should take measures that help her wake up for prayer before sunrise, such as using an alarm clock, and fifteen minutes are sufficient for ablution and prayer. Therefore, the questioner must wake her mother and urge her to pray. However, if she knows with certainty that her mother will not pray until after the time for prayer has expired, then she is not obligated to wake her.
