It is forbidden to hold parties in the mosque, and it is disliked for a person to eat from what has been given in charity. This is based on Al-Kharashi's commentary on the statement of Khalil Al-Maliki: "He shall not ride it nor eat from its produce." This means that whoever gives something in charity is not allowed to ride it or eat from its produce, and this prohibition is in the sense of dislikeness (karaha).
