What advice can you give us to adopt as a system for our lives?

Islam is a comprehensive way of life that guarantees happiness in this world and the hereafter, and it is expounded in the Qur’an and the Sunnah (definition). The Qur’an is guidance and clarification, and the Sunnah elaborates on the divine methodology. The more a servant adheres to the Sunnah, the greater their happiness will be. Among the comprehensive pieces of advice are: the Prophet's counsel to Ibn Abbas: "Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you... If you ask, ask of Allah..." and his counsel to Abu Dharr: "Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good one, it will erase it, and deal with people with good character."
