Must a wealthy son help his mother who receives welfare, especially since she is angry with him, believing that he is undutiful to her and biased towards his wife whom she hates?

The brother should be advised to honor and be kind to his mother, to strive to provide for her needs, and to beware of disobeying her by prioritizing his wife and children over her. A capable son is obligated to spend on his poor parents by scholarly consensus, based on the Almighty's saying: (And treat parents with goodness), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the best of what a man eats is from his earnings, and indeed his child is from his earnings." And part of goodness is spending on them when they are in need. How can a son be content for his mother to remain dependent on her relatives while he is able to spend on her, especially since he knows of his mother's anger about this, and she has the right to be angry. One must beware of the son meeting his Lord while his mother is angry with him, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Stay with her, for Paradise is under her feet."
