A menstruating woman is permitted to travel for and enter into a state of from the . She may enter Mecca and remain in her lodging without entering the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-) or her husband approaching her. When she becomes pure, she should perform (ritual bath) and then complete her Umrah, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) statement to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "Perform all the rituals of Hajj except circumambulating the Kaaba."
