What is the exegesis of the noble verse: "And upon those who are Jews, We have forbidden every animal of uncloven hoof"?

The noble verse is in Surat Al-An'am, not Al-Ma'idah, and it clarifies that Allah forbade to the Jews "every animal with an undivided hoof" (or solidungula), which is an animal with un-cleft hooves like camels and ostriches. He also forbade them the fat of cattle and sheep, except what adhered to their backs, or what the intestines carried (the entrails), or what was mixed with bone. This prohibition was a recompense for their transgression and their disobedience to Allah's commands. And Allah is truthful in what He has conveyed.
