Is it permissible for a wife to secretly take money from her husband to cover household and children's expenses and to pay zakat, and is it permissible to pay zakat in installments, given that the husband does not pray, does not pay zakat, and squanders his money?

A husband's abandonment of prayer and his prevention of the payment of zakat is a grave sin, and the wife must not remain silent about it. If the husband withholds the obligatory maintenance, the wife is permitted to take from his money without his knowledge, to the extent of her need. Similarly, she may take her due wages from his money without his knowledge if he withholds them, unless her work is voluntary. As for zakat, it is not permissible to disburse it from his money without his permission. However, if the wife has money in the partnership that reaches the nisab, she may pay its zakat without his knowledge.
