What is the ruling on her second marriage, and is expiation due upon her after her first 'urfi marriage?

If the 'Urfi marriage fulfills all conditions and is approved by the guardian, then the marriage is valid, and the marriage of the other man is considered null and void. However, if the first marriage was irregular, but jurists differed regarding its irregularity, then the second contract is likewise invalid. If the first marriage was null and void by consensus of the jurists—for example, if it was without a guardian or witnesses—then it has no effect, and the second contract is valid.
