What is the ruling on not wearing gloves due to sensitivity, and on not adorning the hand with rings?

It is not permissible for a woman to uncover her palms in front of non-mahram men, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars. However, if the hand develops an allergy and itching due to wearing gloves, and the woman cannot tolerate it, then there is no harm in her removing them, while avoiding showing her hands to non-mahram men by concealing them under her khimar or dress sleeve.
