What are the Hadiths about the Noble Prophetic Hijra?

The Prophetic Hijra is mentioned in authentic hadiths, including what Al-Bukhari narrated from Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) in the story of Suraqa ibn Malik, where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated against him, and his horse sank into the earth. Suraqa then sought forgiveness, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him milk to drink. And among them is what Ahmad mentioned – with a good chain of narration – from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) in the interpretation of the verse: "And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]." Quraysh consulted one night in Mecca concerning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), deliberating between imprisoning him, killing him, or expelling him. Allah informed His Prophet of this, so Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) slept in the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bed, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to the cave. The polytheists thought that Ali was the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then they discovered the matter and tracked his footsteps to the mountain. They reached the cave and saw spiderwebs at its entrance, which deterred them from searching it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed there for three nights.
