There is no objection to a married couple sleeping in separate rooms, though it is preferable for them to sleep in one room. It is obligatory for the wife to obey her husband if he desires her to sleep with him or invites her to bed; otherwise, she would be disobedient (nashizah), and the husband has the right to discipline her. It is permissible for a man to marry another, and it may be obligatory if one wife does not suffice him and he fears temptation.
