Is it permissible to repeat the 'Asr prayer in congregation with the intention of performing a supererogatory prayer after having already performed it individually?

If you pray Asr in congregation, and then another congregation enters the mosque, scholars differ regarding repeating the prayer with them. The correct view, according to the majority of scholars, is that it is recommended to repeat it. However, if you pray individually, it is recommended that you repeat the prayer with the congregation to attain the virtue of congregational prayer, and the second prayer will be considered a supererogatory act.
