Is a husband permitted to divorce his wife if enjoyment and desire have ceased between them, daily problems have multiplied, and a disparity in their levels of thinking has emerged?

It is advisable to be patient with one's wife for the sake of the children and the marriage, and to consult specialists in family affairs and doctors to understand the causes of frigidity. If enjoying her company becomes impossible and problems escalate, divorce is permissible, although patience is preferable, as Allah Almighty says: "And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."
