Is it permissible to become a manga artist (Japanese cartoon drawing style) to spread purposeful stories?

It is permissible to author purposeful stories that promote good morals and prohibit indecency, evil, and transgression. However, one must be wary of stories derived from infidel cultures if they include praise for their religions or beliefs, or an invitation to them, because assisting in the spread of misguidance in any way is unlawful. As for cartoons, their ruling has been previously clarified in another fatwa.
