Applications that predict the future are forbidden, according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights." The user's knowledge that it is for fun does not excuse it, for jesting should be truthful, not false, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, I jest, but I only speak the truth."
