The aforementioned product cannot be judged without knowing its ingredients and how alcohol is used in it. However, generally, intoxicating alcohol that is considered (wine) is forbidden to use, unless it has transformed into another non-intoxicating substance through استحالة (transformation), or its proportion is very small, such that its effect does not appear in the color, taste, or smell of the product. In these cases, it is permissible to use it. Similarly, it is permissible to consume food products that use a small proportion of alcohol in their manufacturing due to the widespread affliction (عموم البلوى) and the evaporation of most of the alcohol during manufacturing.
