Is the 'Umrah valid if spotting occurs during its performance due to medication taken to delay menstruation?

The ihram of a menstruating woman for 'Umrah is valid, but circumambulating the Ka'bah is forbidden for her until she becomes pure. It is permissible to take medication to temporarily stop menstruation for the purpose of performing 'Umrah, provided there is no harm in it. Brownish discharges (kudrah or sufrah) are considered menstruation during the accustomed period according to the Hanbalis, and this is the relied-upon opinion. The Malikis hold that menstruation can be kudrah or sufrah. Therefore, it is not permissible to circumambulate with these discharges present during the accustomed period.
