The minimum duration of menstruation according to the majority of scholars is one day and one night. So, if the observed blood reaches one day and one night in a possible timeframe, then it is menstruation; otherwise, it is not. If the blood is not menstrual, then performing ' is permissible. If it is menstruation and it stops and purity is observed, then one should hasten to perform , and 'Umrah will be valid. However, if it is menstruation and purity is not observed, then it is permissible to enter into for 'Umrah, but circumambulation () is not permissible until purity is attained and ghusl is performed.
