Is the name "Rakan" Arabic or foreign, and is it disliked to name with a foreign name?

We have not found anything to indicate that Arabs were named "Rakan." However, a name similar to it, "Rukanah," was found, as in the name of the Companion Rukanah ibn Abd Yazid.
