What is the ruling on seeking the Imam's guardianship for marriage to a righteous young man after repeated parental refusal, despite the suffering and avoidance of temptations, and is it obligatory to inform him of past sins after sincere repentance?

Whoever has transgressed against himself should not despair of Allah's mercy. Instead, he should engage in sincere repentance, for Allah accepts repentance from His servants and forgives all sins. Traveling to disbelieving lands is perilous, as forbidden acts have become permissible there. Regarding marriage, one must ascertain the reasons for the family's rejection of suitors and work to address them. If this is not possible, the legal guardian can be the director of an Islamic center or the Imam of a mosque. Sincere repentance erases sins and opens a door to a new life filled with faith and righteous deeds. It is not necessary to mention the sin to someone proposing marriage after repentance. It is also advised to hasten marriage to avoid falling into temptation.
