Is it permissible to marry a religious young man of good character, but who commits some violations of Islamic law, knowing that he accepts advice and is convinced by a fatwa?

There is no impediment to accepting marriage to the suitor if he is religious, has good character, and accepts advice. His shortcomings in some matters do not prevent his acceptance, as long as, on the whole, he is a person of religion and good character. The decisive factor is the sum of his qualities. He should be advised to be diligent in adhering to religion, drawing closer to Allah, and striving in knowledge and good deeds, and to cooperate with his wife in this with wisdom and gentleness.
