The best way to foster love between spouses is to adhere to Allah's Sharia. Both spouses should commit to acts of obedience, frequently perform supererogatory acts of worship, and avoid sins that breed hatred and deprive one of sustenance. Among the permissible means for good companionship are: enduring harm with patience, repelling evil with good, spreading greetings of peace, exchanging gifts, each adorning themselves for the other, and identifying what brings joy to their partner's heart. There is no specific supplication or Quranic verses designated for achieving love between spouses, but it is permissible to supplicate for any good in this world and the hereafter.
