What is the ruling on one who broke an oath made on the Qur’an not to spend more than two hours online? And does the expiation for an oath differ if it was sworn verbally compared to swearing it with a hand placed on the Mushaf?

Expiation is incumbent upon whoever breaks an oath, whether or not it was affirmed by placing a hand on the Qur’an, because swearing by the Qur’an is contrary to the Sunnah. The expiation for an oath is feeding ten poor persons with the average food one feeds one’s family, or clothing them, or emancipating a slave. And whoever cannot afford that, then fasting three days.
