How can a person afflicted with black magic protect himself from it and nullify it? Is reciting Surat Al-Baqarah daily and performing Ruqyah Shar'iyah sufficient for that? And must he abandon all sins?

Repentance and adherence to Allah's Sharia are among the greatest means of removing harm and averting affliction. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out" and "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him ease in his affair." This person should adhere to Allah's Sharia, strive in His obedience, repent from all sins, and recite legal ruqyah upon himself, such as Al-Fatiha, Ayatul-Kursi, and the Two Last Surahs. If it is possible to identify the location of the magic and extract it, that would be beneficial, with the caveat not to accuse anyone of magic without clear evidence.
