How is the debt divided among the children of a deceased debtor who left no estate, and are the daughters obligated to participate in repaying the debt?

If a person dies while indebted, their debt is paid from their estate before it is distributed among the heirs, based on the Almighty’s saying: (after any bequest he may have made or any debt). If he has no estate, his heirs are not obligated to pay his debt on his behalf, but it is commendable for them to do so, especially his children, as it is an act of great righteousness. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (The soul of the son of Adam remains suspended by his debt until it is paid off for him).
