How do we respond to someone who says, "The niqab is a cause for the spread of terrorism and marital infidelities"?

Covering the face with the niqab is legislated, and its ruling oscillates between obligation and recommendation. It is among the greatest means of spreading chastity and virtue and protecting society from corruption. Allah Almighty legislates with knowledge and wisdom, and He knows His creation best. As for the exploitation of the niqab for evil purposes by some women, it does not invalidate the original legislation; otherwise, the entire religion would be invalidated because some people use religion as a means for worldly gains. If women wearing the niqab are found to practice violence, the niqab has no relation to that; rather, it is attributable to extremist ideologies.
