Am I entitled to demand the thousands of dinars that were unjustly taken from me after I had intended to donate them as charity on behalf of myself, my parents, my cousin, and my family?

You cannot retract the absolution of a man from a debt and demand it back if you have vocalized it. However, if the intention of absolution was merely internal without being vocalized, then you have the right to demand the debt from the man.
