Is it permissible to dispose of boycotted soft drinks by throwing them away or by selling them?

These drinks are not inherently forbidden. However, many scholars have issued a fatwa prohibiting their purchase, due to the economic support it provides to the enemy during their war against Islam and Muslims. If they have already been purchased, it is not permissible to destroy them, as this would be a waste of money. Instead, they can be consumed or disposed of through sale, gift, or charity.
