Does the certificate become unlawful if full efforts are not exerted in obtaining it, especially when money is paid to others to complete non-specialized courses that raise the academic average?

Cheating is forbidden by Islamic law, and this includes cheating in all academic subjects, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever cheats is not one of us." Ibn Uthaymeen clarified that cheating is a major sin and encompasses all types of deception, including cheating in exams, whether against oneself or others. Therefore, it is not permissible for a student to cheat in any subject, including English, because cheating is a deception against officials, the state, and society. Thus, those who cheat must repent to Allah.
