Is it permissible for a woman who vomits blood throughout her pregnancy and cannot pray normally and is breastfeeding her baby due to her deteriorating health, to undergo a tubal ligation to prevent pregnancy permanently?

It is not permissible to perform an abortion definitively, except out of a necessity recognized by Sharia, such that a trustworthy Muslim doctor determines that the pregnancy poses a definite or probable danger to the mother's life, or causes her an unbearable hardship normally, and there is no other way to temporarily prevent pregnancy. The procedure must be performed by a Muslim female doctor if available.
