Pink, if it is light red, is considered menses if it persists for a day and a night. If it is yellow, it is not considered menses unless it is connected to a known menstrual period or occurs during the usual days of menstruation and lasts for a day and a night. What applies to yellowness also applies to brownish discharge. If it is determined to be menses, then it is obligatory to abstain from prayer, fasting, and other things that a menstruating woman abstains from.
