The question

Does the self-talk with the divorce utterance "talaqa" (I divorce) or "taliqah" (divorced) in a muffled, unclear voice, without moving the tongue, affect the occurrence of divorce, especially with no intention or aim of divorce, and knowing that there is obsessive-compulsive disorder?

The answer

It is clear that the whole matter is a mere whisper (waswasa) that does not result in divorce. Therefore, you must turn away from these whispers, beware of giving in to them, seek Allah's help, do not despair, and occupy your time with what benefits you.
