However, if the person seeking the certificate is deserving of it due to their expertise and there is no deception or fraud involved, then there is no harm in paying fees for it. The fact that the fees contain a portion from unlawful earnings does not affect the validity of the certificate or the permissibility of dealing with it. It is appropriate to deal with parents with wisdom, good counsel, gentleness, and kindness when offering advice.
