Mastery and excellence in work are part of the religion, whether it be an act of worship or a customary practice. Evidence from the Quran and Sunnah supports this, including the words of Allah Almighty: "And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good," and the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Indeed, Allah has prescribed excellence in everything," and "Rectify and excel; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good," and "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, loves that when one of you does a deed, he perfects it."
