How does Al-Bukhari reconcile his excommunication of the Jahmiyyah with his narration from them, such as his narration from Yahya ibn Salih al-Wahazhi, who was a Jahmi?

Yahya ibn Salih al-Wahazhi is a figure about whom the imams differed. Some attributed to him the view of Jahm or Irja', while others authenticated him. Al-Bukhari and other imams of Hadith narrated from him. Narrating from him is permissible as long as he is truthful, trustworthy, and precise, and so long as his narration does not strengthen his innovation. The hadith of an innovator is not rejected unless he is a preacher for his innovation, or narrates something that strengthens it, or denies something that is widely transmitted and known as a necessity of the religion.
