What is the ruling regarding a man divorcing his wife under duress, based on her continuous request, given the impossibility of the couple staying together?

The meaning of "provocative divorce" is unclear. If it refers to moral or psychological pressure, this does not prevent the divorce from occurring, nor is it considered compulsion unless one reaches a state where they do not comprehend what they are saying. Two points must be emphasized: First, a wife is not permitted to seek divorce except for a legitimate Shar'i reason, such as clear harm. Second, a husband is not permitted to be absent from his wife for more than six months unless with her consent. If she requests his return, he is obligated to do so unless there is a valid excuse; otherwise, she has the right to seek divorce.
