When should a woman perform ghusl after the end of her menstrual period, which concludes on the seventh day, so that she can begin praying and fasting on the eighth day without missing Fajr prayer, knowing that a small amount of blood might be discharged after performing ghusl on the seventh day?

A woman knows she has become pure by one of two signs: (dryness or the white discharge), and she must hasten to perform ghusl immediately upon seeing it.

If she sees purity on the seventh day, she must perform ghusl and pray the current prayers. If she becomes pure at the time of 'Isha', she prays Maghrib and 'Isha'. If she becomes pure at the time of Maghrib, she prays Maghrib. If she becomes pure at the time of 'Asr, she prays Dhuhr and 'Asr. If she becomes pure at the time of Dhuhr, she prays Dhuhr.

If she sees blood after performing ghusl, it is considered menstruation, and she must repeat ghusl after it ceases. However, yellowish or brownish discharge after ghusl is not considered menstruation, and she continues with wudu, prayer, and fasting.

She must intend to fast from the night if she sees purity before Fajr. If bleeding resumes after Fajr, the fast for that day is invalidated. The Fajr prayer is not combined with Dhuhr. If she becomes pure at the time of Fajr, ghusl and the Fajr prayer are obligatory. If she becomes pure after its time has passed, nothing is obligatory upon her.
