Is there for one who repeats after the caller to prayer a reward like his?

The hadith, "Whoever hears the muezzin and says what he says, will have a reward like his," is weak. Even if it were authentic, it does not necessarily imply their complete equality in reward in every aspect, as the muezzin has a virtue by virtue of being a muezzin. Authentic hadiths have been reported regarding the virtue of responding to the muezzin and supplicating after the adhan, such as the hadith of Umar ibn al-Khattab concerning the virtue of following the muezzin, about which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says it from his heart will enter Paradise," and the hadith of Abdullah ibn Amr regarding the virtue of repeating what the muezzin says and then making a supplication.
