Is it normal to feel fear and doubt when reading the Quran?

You must recite the Qur’an frequently and ponder its verses, and pay no attention to fear and doubt, for they are from the plots of Satan to divert you from good. Allah Almighty said: "Indeed, he has no authority over those who believe and rely upon their Lord," and He said: "Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak." Sense the greatness of Allah and His awareness of you, and that no one can harm or benefit you except by His permission, and that Allah is more merciful to you than you are to yourself. By doing so, Allah will relieve you of what you find.
