What is the ruling on a girl being forced into marriage by her parents or one of them, and are the children resulting from such a marriage considered children of 'zina' (fornication)?

The "ijab" (offer) is the guardian's statement, "I marry my daughter so-and-so to you," and the "qabul" (acceptance) is the man's statement, "I accept marriage to so-and-so." It is recommended to mention the dowry. The girl's consent is not part of the ijab and qabul, but the preponderant opinion is that it is a condition. Children born from a disputed فاسد (invalid) marriage are legitimate children attributed to their father. If the woman surrenders herself to the husband or knows of her right to annulment but does not pursue it, the marriage is valid.
