What is the ruling on worshippers standing to bow with the Imam in the Tarawih prayer after they had been sitting and listening to him?

One should not intentionally delay bowing with the Imam without an excuse, because that loses the reward of hastening to do good, although the prayer is valid because the rak'ah is considered to be caught by bowing, according to the majority of jurists.
