Should we ask Allah for His bounty upon hearing the turkey gobble?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If you hear the crowing of roosters, ask Allah for His bounty, for they have seen an angel. This applies to all roosters, with no specific type excluded. It is recommended to interrupt recitation upon hearing the crowing of roosters to ask Allah for His bounty, even if it occurs repeatedly.
