Who is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid - her biography?

Khadijah bint Khuwaylid is the greatest Mother of the Believers and the foremost woman of her time. She shares an ancestor with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in his grandfather Qusay. She is the mother of all his children except Ibrahim. She was known in the pre-Islamic era as "At-Tahirah" (the Pure One), and she was the first to believe in him and affirm his message. She was intelligent, dignified, pious, and chaste, and she is among the people of Paradise. Her merits are many. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not marry anyone before her, nor did he marry anyone else during her lifetime. Allah Almighty commanded the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise. She passed away, may Allah be pleased with her, in the tenth year of the prophethood and was buried in Al-Hajoun in Mecca at the age of sixty-five.
