If the compensation is blood money (Diyyah), it is to be divided among the heirs of the deceased as if it were an inheritance. Since the brother passed away before the division of the estate (Munasakhah), his share transfers to his heirs. If he has no children or a wife, then his mother receives one-sixth, and the remainder goes to his father by way of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with nothing for his siblings due to the presence of the father.
